I saw the news this morning about Kim Peek passing and was a bit saddened. Being the real life inspiration for Rain Man, Kim was a pretty neat guy, and being only 58, he wasn't all that old either. While I have no connections to him, and I really only know what I saw about Kim on TV during various documentaries and prime time news show interviews, I feel his death should rate higher on the Care-O-Meter than Brittany Murphy's by a mile.
